Here's a list of some of the work carried out on the house:
- Stone roof lifted and re-laid.
- New beams replaced, where required.
- Waterproof lining fitted. Full insulation of the roof space.
- A complete rewire of 220 Volt electrical system and a partial upgrade of existing three-phase electrical system.
- Old plumbing completely replaced and new additional plumbing installed.
- Five wet-room bathrooms created, plus utility room. All fully tiled with matching floor and wall tiles.
- New wooden ceilings and floors fitted on the top floor.
- New hand made external doors created and fitted where required.
- Full treatment against wood beetle infestation.
- All external walls, where required, have been insulated and rendered.
- Below ground level insulation and waterproofing where required.
- Garden landscaped and seeded with rye grass.
- External garden lights fitted to emphasise the beauty of the house.
- New two metre high garden stone wall built.
- New access road constructed.
- New waste water drains fitted.
